About this template
Pick a top-level account and see its whole Parent Account tree as cards on a canvas you can pan and zoom. Every branch shows the open pipeline and contact count of everything beneath it, and big branches collapse so a tree of hundreds of accounts still opens readable.
Turn on the Opportunities and Contacts layers and the same canvas shows each account's open deals and people. Select a deal or a person and the contact roles between them light up, across subsidiaries too, while a panel slides in with that record's numbers and fields.
On an Account record page, the app opens at that account's corporate parent with the current account marked, so account managers see the whole family without leaving the record.
Where the built-in view stops
View Account Hierarchy shows the tree as an indented list with a few columns, capped at 2,000 accounts. Roll-up summary fields can't add numbers up across it, because they need a master-detail relationship and Parent Account is a lookup. This template adds the numbers up in the app instead, so there's no new field, no Apex and no flow to maintain.
Best use cases
Key account planning
See the whole corporate family before a QBR: which subsidiaries carry open pipeline, which carry none, and how many people you know at each.
Buying committees across subsidiaries
Turn on both layers and select a deal. Everyone with a role on it lights up, including people who sit under a different subsidiary than the deal.
Hierarchy cleanup
Spot accounts parked under the wrong parent and branches that go deeper than they should. The view only reads, so you fix Parent Account values in Salesforce.
Getting started
Step 1: Use this template
Wisty opens it as your own project. Connect your Salesforce org if you haven't yet.
Step 2: Say what matters in your org
Name the team, the filters and any custom fields, and Wisty adapts the queries to your objects. For example:
Use this for our key account managers. Only show accounts where Tier__c is Strategic.
Step 3: Check it on your data
Open your biggest account family and try both layers. Keep asking in chat until the cards show the fields your team looks for.
Step 4: Publish it
Add it to the Account record page, a Salesforce tab, or share it as a link. Nothing in your org changes, so there's nothing to deploy.
